A lot of obvious stuff out there, but I just wanted to mention a few smaller things that caught my eye, both good and bad:

Jack Simmons needs better hands, but he can play.
TRich ain't blowing anyone up anymore.

    Pouha played well.
Bart Scott overruns a lot of plays and misses a lot of tackles.

Anyone else notice things other than: leon is great, Vernon sucks, Sanchez has command of the offense, we need a WR?

In what plays did you get those impressions?

Scott was too aggressive at times. The Giants run a lot of cutbacks and misdirection type of run plays and I think he bit on that a bit. Richardson not blowing people up is, I think, more symptomatic of him going up against a very good run defense (and the Giants D was good against the run last night). I can't really say I paid a ton of attention to Simmons and Pouha, but the Scott and Richardson comments are accurate based on what I saw.

I noticed Piatiatua (sp?) making plays and I think he is a lock for the 53 man roster. I also like Kraul but he's small and will probably end up on the PS.

1- bart scott is a better player when he's not wearing his helmet.

2- revis made a nice tackle on jacobs, but other than that he was invisible, a total bust, and should be cut.

3- rex will give ghost a hug for that hit

4- sanchez outplayed eli buy a large margin

5- #20 should just shut up now and figure out how to run the dam ball

6- tanny should just shut up now and pay #29 starter money. its not like we're paying any other rb starter money, #20 has already been paid out.

7- wish we had more hits on retarded eli

A couple of things stuck out for me:
Clowney played a lot in the first half, but either didn't get open or Sanchex didn't see him.
Jamaal Westerman's sack was better than anything Gholston has done in two years.
The breakdowns in the secondary is somewhat alarming
I'd like to see more of Aundrae Allison. He's raw, but the size/speed combination makes him potentially a better player than Clowney

Man I don't know where you got this idea about Simmons being able to play... is it because he's able to suit up his uniform? I thought they shouldn't have even let him on the bus back home after the game. Don't know why they continue to insist on letting him touch the field.

Jamaal has shown some promise and hes made some noise. Clowney has got to focus more on the game than what his next remark is gonna be on Twitter.

We saw some good things from 44, 55, 88, 99 and even 33 except for the long TD he blew.

Even 22 did averaged 3+ yds a carry behind a makeshift line.

All in all the doubt digits did good, even 11 did okay.

I'm only going to go through plays with the 1s, though I should admit that Simmons made an impression on me after that, but here we go (quarter/ time left in said quarter):

    Bart:
    1/2:04: whiff
2/12:32: overplayed Boss to the middle
2/11:43: overrun the run (though i would have liked to see Gholston blow up Hedgecock and make the play himself)

    Pouha:
    1/4:04: hold point
2/10:16: holds point against doubel team
    2/9:30: stacks, sheds, makes tackle
    2/5:55: collapses pocket
    3/5:10: sets edge against double

    TRich:
1/6:20 Clark stuffs him in hole on goalline
    2/7:30: Blackburn BLOWS UP TRich
    3/9:12: stood up in hole

    Simmons:
    3/9:40: seals edge
ok, I have to admit, he made most of his noise againt nobodies, but hey, he's an undrafted rookie, I'm still pleased.

noticed both them last week and this one. 79 got pushed way out of the play once, but he was solid and aware. Can't ignore DeVito, he was also solid.
