Seriously. This is actually funny. They had the biggest steal of the draft and their actually complaining how frail he is and that he will bust. Man, I thought we were bad. If I were in their situation I would have jumped for joy.
He's a QB you either love or hate, I suppose. But at pick 10, it seems like a steal so long as he lives up to the hype. Just curious, but who were the Card fans rooting for in the first round anyway? Cutler?
Yeah. Alot of them wanted Cutler. I don't know what they drank, but whatever it was, it sure was alot.
They are idiots. IMO, they got the biggest steal of life and even Matt got to go to a QB dream situation.. Granted he lost millions upon millions, but he can bring life to the desert. With Boldin, Fitz, and now even Pope to throw to Matt should have plenty of weapons like he did in USC. And he'll have Edge (who should be the main focus on offense) taking a lot off his shoulders that he would have had on had he gone earlier.
Well I do see why they could be a little upset... Fitzgerald and Boldin and fast WRs that know how to get their ass up the field so a strong armed QB is a better fit then a weak armed, accurate one. I could see why they'd want Cutler and Leinart may not do as good as you think there when he can't throw to Fitzgerald 15 yards down the field consistently. His durability shouldn't be the problem... the arm strength should.
The fact that Leinart doesn't make poor reads and can just throw the ball up to the two most physical receivers in the entire NFL makes it the best situatuion for both sides. Add in 6'7" Leonard Pope and that is the scariest passing attack in the NFL. You better be coming with two Deion Sanders reincarnates if you plan on stopping the Cards passing attack in a year or two.
BTW The Offseason I love your sig. LMFAO  DITK, Fitz and Boldin are more quick then fast. They are more YAC, make moves with the ball, then down field type strechers. I think Matt is an excellent fit there, he has more than enough arm IMO. Neither Boldin or Fitz will be outrunning his throws.
People make so many wrong accusations about Leinart it's not even funny. They mistake arm strength with arm velocity. Leinart throws an excellent deep ball, with great touch and the ability to anticipate where defenders will be. He has trouble throwing deep routes say.. 15 yard deep slants, and throwing them hard to the receiver so that a safety can't float over and pick it off. That's the only knock on Leinart, and most of the Cardinals routes are to the outside from what I've seen. While Denny Green is a douchebag I'm sure he will play to Leinart's strengths and give Edgerrin James plenty of carries.
