I never said bring him in and make him the #1. But I think the guy can still play some ball as a WR low on the depth chart and a special teams guy. I know the Jets are pretty set on special teams, but considering the talented special teams units their division rivals field it might not be a bad idea. He would be a decent pickup if the Jets don't like what they are seeing from their WR depth and want some more special teams talent. If that's not the case, don't bring him in.

if he wasn't too old....he'd still be catching balls from P.Manning.

I heard Harrison's career is shot. Vick hasn't been signed cause he has been dogging it in training. Stallworth's suspension is going to murder his career. etc.

thats your opinion bro. basically we are looking for a diamond in the rough. tyree having played on a super bowl winning team could be the answer. not to mention the locker room prescence. he wasnt as bad as you are saying. but then again football knowledge isnt one of your brighter points.

You're right, he played on a Super Bowl winning team. So did Hank Poteat, maybe we should bring him back, too. And Ty Law. The guy's a beast. David Tyree made a legendary catch in the Super Bowl and then his team did everything they could to replace him. He must be an all-pro.

Or should that be 'all-bro'? Maybe he can make it to the Bro Bowl.

No. We already have 3 special teams guys and the best special teams coach in the league. We don't need another special teams player, Wright, Smith, and Izzo are enough. Hell, Wright and Smith are enough even if Izzo doesn't make the team.

As a WR, he's marginal and we're already well stocked on marginal WR talent. Pass.
