I haven't seen too many 2nd & 3rd round mock drafts but from what I'm seeing, Brodie Croyle is projected somewhere in the 50's, while Clemens is in the 70's. Intrestingly enough, Jets have picks in both the 50's and 70's now. Its just a matter of who they want. As much as I love Croyle, the FO is playing it safe so I think they'll take Clemens.

I say we go Croyle, but then again I am intrigued by Bama QBs with bad knees

I'm not crazy about either, but I'd definately prefer Croyle to Clemens.

Clemens has a weak arm, is immobile and is not a very good decision maker. In other words he really has nothing going for him except for a nice combine. Drafting him would be a very, very, very bad decision.

I'd rather have Whitehurst or Jacobs than either of these guys to be honest.

Well we already have 2 second rounders now. It is possible that the Jets may gather ammunition to get Quinn next year if Pennington or Ramsey dosen't work out.

God, as much as I hate to say it, Whitehurst could be a steal.

I hate Brodie as a QB. I would go with Clemens hands down.

The Vikings pose a threat. I hope they don't take Croyle. Why the Vikings didn't take a QB earlier I don't know.

Please dont let us get stuck with Kellen Clemens. I am starting to hope somebody takes Lendale off the board so we dont pass on him AGAIN.

I have a feeling there isn't going to be any playmakers drafted this year.

We will have no one to pick up even half the production of John Abe.

Damn, i really went to this draft trying to be a open minded as possible.

    BRODIE CROYLE

Pros: Big arm that can make all the throws, prototype size at 6’3”; has great leadership qualities; is very gutsy: tries to play injured and after a hit will always get up; good touch and accuracy, very poised; has good awareness inside the pocket and enough agility to step up and make his throws.

Cons: He is injured a lot, a lot. Since 2003 he has had a broken rib, injured shoulder and torn ACL. Is not as polished throwing as other prospects. Sometimes throws into coverages and needs to learn how to read them. Might need to bulk up from 200 lbs.

    - VERSUS -

    KELLEN CLEMENS

Pros: Has solid physical attributes, and before injury looked like one of the better passers in the nation. Good decision maker with solid leadership and intangibles.

Cons: Coming back from a pretty serious injury which cut short his senior year. Takes alot of sacks, did not beat stronger competition - in fact struggled against them, throwing the majority of his interceptions in those games.

Croyle.. He was the best throwing QB in the workouts I saw on T.V... that includes Cutler, Young and Leinart.

Kellen Clemens sounds alot like Chad, in a way. Less than desireable arm strength, poor pocket presence, struggles against higher competition, yet can lead a team, has good intangibles, and makes good decisions.

If it were up to me, I'd pick Croyle. His injury problems are a concern, but hopefully with the new O-Line he won't be put to the ground so much.

People assume that Clemens makes good decisions because he is a leader and doesn't have a powerful arm. That is not the case. Against the Pac-10's elite defenses he constantly tosses up mistakes under pressure.

I would very, very upset with a Clemens pick.
