The name on the ticket is just the name on the ticket. It doesn't mean the player on the ticket is having a day in their honor for that game.
very very nice...... never owned season tickets before - have an uncle who had them for shea in the late 70's to 81..... BTW - after my 4th jack/coke last night i almost slapped down 15K on a PSL for 2010... seriously - was ready to click the checkout box and the only thing that stopped me was that i couldn't figure out the stadium orientation with respect to the sun!! not to joke about it cause 15K is alot of stash but i think i am going in - but i just might wait until 1/2way thru this upcoming season to see if any price adjustments are made. jil

Yeah, no shit. Look on the Winston Hill ticket closely. It says WINSTON HILL DAY on the side. Every single ticket for Games 2-7 have something written on the side. There are Coat Drive, Lupus Awareness, Breast Cancer Awareness, Food Drive, something else and then on Winston's it says Winston Hill Day, so maybe it will be another stupid & lame ceremony like CMart & Chrebet had, WHERE THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD THEIR #'S RETIRED, or maybe just maybe the organization is ready to retire #75.

I thought Cutis Martin shoudve gotten better then a pre season game. Other then that no complaints I like how the coloring on the game number is the team color for the Jets opponent that day.
I agree, those are great - I like them so much I've made the Chrebet one my new avatar (the orang-utan had to go). EDIT - just thought, if you had plans on using that just let me know and I'll change.
Being a fellow Jets-freak like many of you, I eagerly await the tickets and fridge schedule magnet arriving each year, and I was very pleased they got their act together this year. The tickets look great, which they have not in several years. The past three years ago they've been shit, to be honest. These look great. Grantham! Wish there was a John Elliott, but hey, maybe that'll be next year. Back to the magnet - I have each year from '95 on my fridge. My favorite is the football shaped one from 95 or 96 (too lazy to get off the couch to see the exact year). While this year's isn't great, at least it is different, with a die-cut, jersey shape. The past few years where too similar. Also glad it doesn't depict a player - they cursed Vinny in '99...
The Jet tickets were great looking and the magnet was nice. But funny how they include information on how to dump your extra tickets in the package.
Haha, they always do that. I find old stubs in my Jets jackets all of the time, as an aside. New season, old stubs. I don't make a habit of saving them, they just pile up. I have Cheaterggggggggggaaaaaaaaate. Haha, I do. It's a little rumpled, but I'll be keeping that one for all eternity.
