    Santana's fastball is about 88 and his changeup is 82.

    Uhoh...

    Through May, ~11 Ks per 9 innings.

    Yep, it's been obvious for a couple of months that he hasn't been the same pitcher: April/May: 1.77 ERA, .208 BA against, .586 OPS against; June/July: 4.50 ERA, .270 BA against, .793 OPS against. For someone who has always been stronger in the second half of the season, this is troubling.

    triples in back to back innings.

    First Pagan and now Sullivan.

    Berroa intentionally walked to get to Johan.

    Rincon almost threw a wild pitch on ball four.

    Oh well. Struck out on three pitches, so Sullivan doesn't get in from third.

    Sullivan in postgame interview: "I chose the Mets organization because they have such a history of winning and putting themselves in great games."

    Anyway, Mets win five in a row. Long scoreless innings streak in this series, too, including two straight shutouts.
