    In 1968, while attending Officer's Candidate School prior to being shipped to Vietnam, they taught us infantry tactics and what to expect in combat. The main objective was to train people to think and act when all about them was turning to shit. And the joke among us at the time was, "Don't panic until absolutely necessary," because panicing in combat was totally out of the question.
