My plan has been to hit camp this Sunday and Monday. I may or may not go now, but if I do, that's when it will be...this weekend.

Anyone else? I saw Tony mention he'd be there this weekend.

I've never been to training camp, any suggestions or tips for where to sit and autographs and stuff?

Anywhere. Players come to you. Just be aggressive. By that, I don't mean hurting children. haha.

    Great website: www.jetscamp.com

Cortland took this seriously. Great work.

At the risk of sounding like a homo...will I get to meet some players, real players, Revis-Cotch-Rhodes, or do they stay away for the most part?

Like I said, never been to one.

What a homo! Just kidding. Yeah, star players sign autographs too. With Rex Ryan, probably even more players will this year and for longer. Mangini was kinda a dictator about that stuff. Oh and all the other stuff too.

Is it hard to get? I don't want to take a Jets helmet to have signed if I'm going to end up walking around with it with nobody to sign it. Look like a tool.

    Don't carry it, wear it...

I remember stories from alot of folks who waited around at Hofstra with mini-helmets and how they were always being signed by the players. It's not like a player will sign a card but then refuse to sign something else, from what I've gathered.

I'm thinking about going to the Green-White scrimmage on Thursday, 8/6. Anyone been to one of those before?

For those of us who have never been.... what other stuff? I mean first practices seem to start 8:15 and second seems to start at 3:15 for the first weekend anyways. I assume the 8:15 will conclude between 10:15-11:15.... so there has to be something to do to kill time before the 3:15 practice kicks off. I mean they cant have guys signing auto's all that time they have to do meetings and things like that to you know improve the team....

Are you speaking of the scrimmage @ Hofstra? If so, it's going to be an absolute nightmare to get to. Think about it- the Island was the home for Jets camp for so long and in the blink of an eye it's gone. I'd venture to guess that most folks from my neck of the woods are not making the trek to Floram Park and certainly not humping it up to bumblefuk, NY to see some guys run practice drills.

That being said, our only shot to see the team locally this year is one night and you have to believe that it's going to be a zoo.
