Hey, Tee. I know you don't like the pick, and I respect your opinion. But I have been a fan of Brick since last year, when he was a projected top 4 pick also, and I looked at him in some games.

I am a fan, I think he is the real deal. I might be wrong, no pick is a sure think, but I think in the long run he is going to be a cornerstone of this team. I can't say I am dissappointed.

If the FO manages to get Mangold or Lawson, and Carpenter, I think it will be a good draft.

He has to be the next Walter Jones or Orlando Pace or else he will be a bust, and you know with that team Leinart is going to be an all pro

"I agree with you, ferguson is not going to work in this system because we have no offense, what are you going to protect????? our QB system sucks, Martin is no God, he can't carry the team on bad and old legs not even mentioning that ferguson is not a good run blocker, we suck, we really suck and Chad is not going to be ready again, if he plays and struggle then everyone will say that he should have rested more again, Ramsey is nobody, the guy lost his job at washington and he was arguing about it when he should have stayed put and work his way harder to get his job back, if you believe that you belong to this league you work hard and wait for your oportunity not argue about it, Bollinger, well we will see the same thing as the last year, Martin??? he is no God and he is getting older, yes he was the league leading rusher in 2004 but with Ramsey or Bolly throwing, no O-line that can run the ball, we will not run the ball, Martin will even try hard to get to 700 yards in a season and do believe me passing game opens up running game, it spreads the field, we could have addresed O-line later, bad pick."

Boy, the dark side is really dark isn't it? Pennington could heal, Martin could get 1200 yds., Bollinger could win SBMVP in 2006, J-Mac could make a clutch catch, Mangina could be coach of the year and Testaverde could really retire. All things are possible on the bright side.

That's understandable but there are some who actually don't know the difference between venting and reality. Also be nice if people would start off posts saying they're venting so people don't react like the people truly mean what they are saying.

the dark side has ruined some peoples objectivity. Interestingly enough.. none of the salaried draft experts rated Brick lower than #4 in overall talent avaliable. Some had young and leinart as second and third rounders. Forget the glamour and glitz. slow and steady boys.. slow and steady..

It was a good pick and all those who think we should have traded up for Bush obviously didnt here the end of sportscenter or begining of the draft where they said the Jets talked to the Saints about the 4, 29 and 3rd round pick to move up and it wasnt enough for the Saints, sorry but Bush is not going to be that damn good that we should give up all that to move up 2 spots. And I would like everyone that thinks Leinart is gonna be the next Carson Palmer to come out and say it so that when he sucks I can say I told you so

A Dark Day for the Jets

    Same old Jets!

Just like taking O'Brien ahead of Marino, or taking Brady ahead of Sapp, or ...

We pass on the next great QB (Leinart) to take an offensive lineman! Typical Jets...We had a golden opportunity to change the face of the franchise, to make us serious Super Bowl contenders for years, and we whiffed big time. Tanny wimped out big time. Took the "safe pick", too afraid to "swing for the fences", drafted scared...

Our last #1 pick lineman - Dave Cadigan, #8 overall
Others - Mike Haight, Ron Faurot, ...

    Add D'Brick to that list.

    Again, Same Old Jets.

Every night, I will go to bed thanking the lord Jesus Christ that you are not the Jets GM. D'brick was the right pick.

When one has such great thoughts, it wouldn't be right to hold them back from enlightening us. I feel much smarter already:up:

I'm so sick of you naysayers... this was the BPA -- end of story. They didn't take Leinart and what happened? He slipped to 10. Obviously our FO weren't the only ones thinking this way.

Please Shut the F Up already.
