Hahaha. I liked the video and how it captures exactly how retarded Favre looked out there the last 5 weeks.

Why is this here? Favre isn't part of this team any more.

this reminded me of how much i hated favre down the strech, he didnt even care, he just threw it up cuz hes a GUNSLINGER

how many of those picks were throws that any football player over the age of 7 could tell you not to make?

Wow this just reminded me of all the pain i felt those last 6 weeks of the season

If the Jets had made the playoffs, we will still have Mangini at the helm. The way the season ended, we ended up with a much better coach, three defensive players from Baltimore, the offense is not going to be held back like it was before. Plus we have a shiny new QB that will probably be the best since Namath by unloading three average players to Mangini. And these players have been replaced by better players.

So, we are better off because last year ended badly and now have a better coaching staff and team.

I like RR and want him to be the HC of our team right now, but you can't say he's a "much better coach" at this point..... Unless you can see into the future, but what fun would that be?

How many DCs have a better resume than Ryan? Mangini was a DC for one year where he did badly. His three years as a HC showed that he is not a good coach. Too stubborn, unable to make the game time adjustments. Ryan wouldn't have had the success that he had for all those years had he not been a lot better than Mangini was the last three years.

And he is smart enough to let his OC run the offense while he does what he does best, run the defense.

Mangini was all about ramming his dumb ideas through, Rex is about doing what he takes to win. Like having a scheme that utilizes your players strengths. Mangini takes his best player, Vilma, and plays him out position. Then he runs another best player, Jenkins, into the ground. Rex never would have done that.

As far as how well he ends up doing, I have hope by I do not have unrealistic expectations. Herm seemed like a terribly hands-off coach and liked to preach from the mountain top, but didn't really have a hell of a lot of coaching experience. Pro players aren't always suited for coaching. Mangini was a fricking ball boy in the 90s.

Ryan is a charismatic guy and seems like a natural leader. On top of that, he's very intelligent, and has been around football at a high level almost his entire life. Football IS his life. Outside of Cowher, who I clearly wanted when the whole Jets/Cowher rumor mill got started, there was not other candidate I liked more than Ryan after I read up on him. I think we are in for some exciting football.

You got that right. He single-handedly killed the season with those last 5 games. 9 INTs in the final 5. Some of them were for TDs and the rest you can see in the video. What a way to kill a fucking season.

The Vikings would be making the biggest mistake of their franchise career starting this douchekit. I wouldn't even pick up the phone.
