Braves win as Soriano gets four straight outs.

Chipper Jones misplayed Schneider's grounder with two outs.

Nice to see that the Mets have turned things around after the All-Star break.

I think if the Mets bullpen had blown this one Johan would have just gone on strike.

    It's pregnancy day in Brooklyn.

There will be a Lamaze class in centerfield before the game, pregnant women will throw out the first pitch, and anyone who agrees to name her child Brooklyn or Cy gets free season tickets for life.

I guess Redding's job is now secure by default? I'm this close to root-root-rooting for the home team out here.

Jeff, I was thinking of Brooklyn Decker when I heard that.

Anyway Murphy went to second to try to get the lead runner on the Vazquez bunt, but Cora dropped it.

    1st and 2nd.

    full count on McLouth now

This Mets team is pathetic...injuries or not. Minaya has to go and he can take Manuel with him.

Schneider tags out Escobar on the plate. Francouer gunned him down and Schneider blocked the plate.

    7-1 going to the 6th.

line drive and McLouth is doubled off.

But they walked McLouth. He's 0/16 in the series.

    0/5
    0/5
    0/5
    0/1 with three walks.

    Embarrassing
