i apologize if already posted. the article is from today's syracuse post standard. it was on page one. http://blog.syracuse.com/sports/2009/07/suny_cortlands_networking_effo.html
i guess i shoulda figured it would be an inside deal...... i have been tremendously disappointed that they have moved it so far away and i wont be able to bring my godson with me to training camp. however i hope all of you 2000 upstate fans show up every day
haha this article makes me laugh. I'm an undergrad there, majoring in SPMG. Worst decision of my life...I can't tell you how much I regret going there. It's a joke...the school is a joke and most of the teachers are awful.
If you really hate it that much, why not transfer? Any other SUNY school will cost pretty much the same.
The whole moving of the training camp is a BIG PILE OF ( rap from the beginingto the end. They build this new facility in Florham Park, NJ and they dont have the latest TV and Video epuipment available. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. And this move is to get the JETS closer together. WHAT A JOKE. This team finally leaves Hofstra and moves closer to me in NJ and I will not get a shot to see them because they just moved to SUNNY NY who does not sound to happy about getting the jets. YES IM PISSED. Anyone else feel this way.
Interesting read. It really is a shame the Jets pay $75 million (maybe more) for a state of the art facility and now the fans will only be able to witness 3 days of Training Camp at Florham Park. Minicamp was great, I was there for 2 of the 3 days, but TC is when it really gets interesting. Shame on the Jets.
i think its cool the jets are gettin away from the limelight of NYC. Its a bonding experience to trek from cortland to giants stadium for the preseason games and what not. i think its cool
I'm more concerned with what the team does September through hopefully February. If this helps, then I'm all for it.
Well its not really a wasted facillity, it is the practice facillity for in season and offseason workouts. Its not TC capable so the fans are pissed, but that does not make it a wasted facillity.
I'm excited. I'm planning a couple trips down there to see TC. You in for one, Mr NYJet? We can take my new truck
NOPE. I live 15 min. from Cortland and I couldn't be more thrilled. Now MY 7 year old will get a chance to see his JETS. Bitch all you want but not all JET fans live by the city.. YEAH, ME!
too late now. I have one semester up there and then an internship and I'm done. Up and on to law school after that!
