Just saw on ESPN NYJ fans wearing #83 Moss jersey's? Last I looked Moss is now a D/skin. I'm sure we will also see JA jersey's if they show the fans coming in again.
Yeah I refuse to wear players jersey's no longer on the team. Unless they have retired as Jets. For example Wayne's Jersey will still be worn for years to come.
I still wear my Moss to the games, I'm done buying new jerseys spendin $200+ to only see that guy leave a year or 2 later. In a few years it will be considered a throwback:grin:
This is just a query since I do not understand why ANY fan would continue to wear a jersey of player that was is now playing for another team. Another question to you & NY Junc if Moss was now a Dolphin would you still wear his jersey?
Hey gas prices are high and some people are scrapin the bottom. He's still sportin the colors though. I think it takes balls too wear a jersey of a former player, but if I didn't have the money I'd dust off the old meshawn jersey.....well maybe not.
I tend to agree here with champ, which is a rareity... I have my Moss jersey, but it's tucked away in my bottom drawer...Just wear a shirt or somethin...But they're GONE...I bet you'll see plenty of John Abraham jerseys next year
the name on the back of the jersey defines us, the name on the front unites us so who cares what jerseys people are wearing, as long as its a jet jersey.
Yours is just a plain out unacceptable excuse & is just plain BS as well. Moss left the team before last season so gas prices were not so hi & I cannot understand how any "supposed" NYJ fan can wear the jersey of a player now playing for another team. That is sort like committing treason against our country. Player is gone upgrade or just tuck that jersey away not to be seen again unless we regain his services
Maybe some people dont want to spend $80 for a cheap replica every year because NFL players come and go like nothing.
This is also phoney baloney. Once a player is gone time for a new jersey. Anything else is treason at least in my opinion. What if Moss was a Dolphin would it still be OK in your head to wear his NYJ jersey?
