EA: C. Pace has been suspended for NYJ's first 4 regular-season games of '09 for violating NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

    ^ Hahah.

But, yeah, this kinda sucks. Looks like Rex better start working intensively with Gholston, because now he HAS to be a factor.

That sucks. Pace is our best OLB. This puts more pressure on Gholston to step up as well as Thomas.

Really not surprised, he looked more like a body builder than a football player

Son of a bitch. Who wants to set the over-under on how many starts Gladys even gets, or if someone in camp beats him out because he's a POS in camp.

I'm all for throwing Gholston to the wolves and seeing him produce......but man, losing Pace to suspension fukking sucks. With the schedule we have this season....we need all of our starters.

"The Jets also like their young OLB reserves in Marques Murrell and Jason Trusnik"

Not to be off-topic but Trusnik is an OLB now?

PS I took the quote from the article...

"This is a situation that resulted from an over-the-counter dietary supplement that contained a substance that I did not know violated the League’s policy," said Pace. "I am responsible for what I put into my body and I should have paid closer attention to the League’s guidelines."

    f'n jackal.

Are we really supposed to believe that shit after he had a team mate get suspended for the same f'n thing last year?

Now Tom Brady will have 9 seconds to throw instead of 7 seconds.

    ugh..

you'd figure with the starcaps situation from last year...and numerous other "dietary supplement" mishaps....the athletes would be a little more attentive as to what they're injesting into their bodies.

    Total irresponsibility on Pace's part.........dumbass.
