Ok Mario is off the board. The Saints will take Bush. The Titans will either select Young or Leinart. My gut tells me the Titans choose Young. So we get the either of the 2 Im ok with Vince Young or Matt Leinart. Many doubt taking Young and would prefer Ferguson or Hawk or Cutler.Leinart is abig strong armed smart qb who can take a hit and get the ball downfield.

If D'Brick is there, we're more then likely going to take him

Whether you like it or not.

    I don't like it.

I was under the impression that Leinart lacked a big arm and that's the main knock against him.

D-Brick fills a big need but picking an offensive lineman with a #4 pick just does not seem right.

Im finally coming to the realization that more then likely the Jets will select D'Brickashaw Ferguson. I will be furious when they do, and if they dont take someonelike Laurence Maroney with the #29, i may consider burning down Radio City Music Hall.

Clearly i want Bush, but if he is gone and Leinart is still on the board YOU HAVE GOT TO TAKE LEINART. This draft is pretty deep in the OT department, and when your a team that needs playmakers, you need to take a playmaker first, and then go O-Line since it's so deep. Its harder to find playmakers in the later rounds.

The question is though, If D'Brick and Leinart are both on the board, do you take D'Brick and try to trade him to the Saints for Bush? I think the only way you do this is if you know you can get something done. Taking Leinart would take away that option since they just signed Drew Brees, but believe me, im not complaining if we have Matt Leinart as our 1st overall pick!

that's my way of thinking as well. It's important, but I think it's like... a waste of a shitty season. I don't know.

I want Reggie, Vernon Davis, or Leinart.

The only way we take D'brick at 4 is to trade him plus picks to the Saints for Bush.

I think you may be right i like the Vince Young hype but in reality i think Leinart is ours at 4. Mangini will not pass on him.

If we don't like Leinart, then surely we would trade down a few spots and still grab DBrick. Oakland would be game for this I bet...

Exactly. They will need to speak with Bush's agents and see if he's going to pull an "Eli".

It's also smart for the Saints not to make a deal before the draft, because although not likely, there is a slight chance the Titans could pick D'Brick. I can see the Saints waiting and asking the Jets to take Brick and then make the trade.

This is getting really exciting, but really stressful at the same time.

Or Mangini may decide on the second best defensive player in the draft A.J Hawk.

    Trade Down!

Let the Raiders have Leinart. There is no way I'd pick Young. Hes dumb as a tree. Browning Nagle II, anyone?

I wouldn't mind grabbing Hawk. Heard some talking heads saying he is the only sure thing in the draft.

Did Browning Nagle play in the Rose Bowl?

Did Browning Nagle put up the numbers Vince Young did against very good competition?

The answer is NO Vince Young is no Browning Nagle that is the most ridiculous statement ive heard knocking Young.

How about this? Hes not too smart, he played in a simple offense geared to his talents and his mechanics are poor.

Its draft day, of course I'm drinking this early! Seriously, though, I'm just not sold on Young. I'd rather have us address other needs.
