my dad has had our tix since the late 60's, we were contacted about new stadium tickets a while ago and we decided on front row upper deck (non psl) if this sheds any light

JEZUS??? 2 in 209??? been dying for those seats for 12 years!! FUK THIS TEAM...You'd think they would ask people who have been in seats for 12 years if they'd like to upgrade??? No offense to you, but that fukking angers me.

Yeah I was surprised. You should call the box office? There are seats in 109 available too, row 29, at least when I checked 30 minutes ago.

I prefer the Mezz. seats to being far back in the lower level.

Every person that I personally know who had season tickets gave them up once the PSL's were announced. That's about 30 season ticket holders right there. It was just too expensive.

They didn't want to hang on for another year? Couldn't they give up the tix between '09 and '10? Or were they simply angry.

i could see getting rid of your seats AFTER the 2009 season. but before? this is the last year at Giants stadium and the tickets prices remained the same.

The reason I never called was that someone else on this board said they called to upgrade their current seats, and they claimed that all of the tickets had gone to print already, and it was too late. If I hadn't already paid for my seats, I'd yank my tix for this year. They are skumbags.

Here's what I don't understand. If people have been paying for season tickets this entire time, why stop this final year? Couldn't they just decline the PSL offers but still kept their seats this year? Unless they're making those people purchase a seat in the new stadium regardless of where it is if they wished to continue coming to the games this year?

I just bought in Section 211, row 3! Can't believe this happened.

Last year I bought a ST through StubHub for Section 138.

Wow I have my own Jets season ticket, I didn't think this day would come for a really long time...

I got the e-mail too and I think I am going to do it with a friend of mine. There are some pretty good seats available up top and I guess we just take our chances on getting something without PSLs at the new place.

What does face value look like at the new place for the current $75 or $80 tickets?

I just got a call from somebody from the Jets asking if I was interested in purchasing. It was easy to see through his sales pitch and I told him that I wouldn't be interested at the moment. They seem to be really pushing it.
