    STRIKE THREE FOR LENDALE

The Los Angeles Daily News reports that former USC running back tested positive during an NFL-administered drug test, citing multiple unnamed sources.

"(The NFL) ain't worried about it," White said on Friday. "The issue's been addressed."

Although the Daily News cites several sources who claim that the positive test occurred at the February scouting combine, White's name wasn't on the list that was circulated to teams on or about April 21. The only two players listed on that, um, list were LSU defensive tackle Claude Wroten and Missouri State kicker Jon Scifres.

Indeed, information regarding the positive results at the combine typically isn't disseminated the day before the draft.

"If it's out, it's got to be a combine test," a source with knowledge of NFL drug testing told the Daily News. "Some teams also give their own tests but those are at individual workouts and no one releases those."

Regardless of when the sample was collected, White is officially scuh-rewed.

White showed up for his pro day on April 2 and engaged in no activities beyond the 225-pound bench, in which he threw up an abysmal 15 reps.

    Strike one.

He later disclosed that he has a torn hamstring, as diagnosed by a chiropractor. Though it was suggested in some media reports that White would get confirmation from a medical doctor with a specialty regarding hamstring injuries, confirmation never came.

    Strike two.

    Positive drug test?

    Caught looking. Strike three.

The only question now is whether White takes his medicine like a man -- or whether he throws the bat at someone.

yeah on the steven a smith show. im sorry but if a guy cant be counted on or motivated enough to earn himself millions of dollers.by doing measly workouts. how motivated do you think he is gonna be when he is finally under contract? coming back from a offseason.. guy is liable to be 300 pounds he probably would never stop eating. stay away from lendale.

Lendale will bust he is not a hardworker and giving him first round money is pointless because he will never work hard enough to be a star in the nfl. Pass on Lendale

I have always said White is overrated and the Jets don't need him. Here is just another reason not to want him.

Well this explains the many appointments and workouts he failed to attend. When you're high life looks rosy good and it's easy to just blow stuff off that is actually mandatory to your continued happiness and well-being.

I wouldn't touch White with a 10 foot pole if he actually failed a drug test. And it's a shame because he was a real talent about 4 months ago before all of the NFL related stuff started happening.

The Steelers have been widely assumed to be taking him at the 32. If he actually failed a drug test they wouldn't take him on the 1,032. He's going to fall to at least the third round and will have lost millions of dollars in the process. All because he thought having a good time was the most important thing in life, so important that getting it cheap by using drugs was a good option.

All of this assumes that he actually failed a drug test of course. it's draft day and the sharks can get pretty vicious when lottery fever strikes.

so a slighty torn hamstring is a perfect reason to put on wieght and to be caught with drugs in ur system. some how you would think if you were going to league you would want to smoking or whatver it is he does a couple months in advance right? the guy doesnt care look at all thw interviews he has done the is acting like he is victim.

I'm just saying that you were jumping on him for not working out at the combine and stuff. If he did, he could have ruined any chance at career by permanently physically disabling himself.
