    500 BUCKS!?!?!? I thought they were going to give them away for like 20$.... ny gid how lame is that... :S

    PS and you can't even select your own seat but just some random seat with the color the same as yours :S :S :S

    I am surprised they are not selling Personal Seat Licenses for the rights to buy the seats.

    the base is the concrete on the meadowlands floor. how would they sell you that and ship it?

    ive seen people mount similiar stadium seats on 2x6s and then route the edges.

    That would be a cool novelty if it were $400 cheaper. I guess it's just overpriced crap though, like just about everything sold at Jetsshop.

    how are they doing this with the giants do they like have a certain number they are allowed to sell?

    for the price for one of those seats id like them to paint them green at least lol

    Or better yet, what Jets fan is going to buy Blue or Red GIANTS STADIUM seats.

    for those who havent been to the stadium lately the red seats are really faded and some almost look orange.

    these seats are a part of meadowlands history for those that were fortunate enough to be there.

    if it werent for the economy and me ultimately getting screwed out of my season tickets by woody johnson i might consider a purchase.

    i just felt others may be interested also. no reason for all the hate bros. im not selling the seats.

    The seats being red makes me hesitate but I spent a good deal of my life in that Stadium watching the Jets and while there are alot of bad memories there are alot of great oens as well. I may scoop mup a pair.

    It will be annoying that they don't come stand alone like the yankee seats are(http://www.demolitionofyankeestadium.com/page/2/ see 2nd batch of photos) but the Yankee seats are $1500 compared to $500 for the Meadowlands.

    I don't see anyone hating on you, just the idea and price. Sounds like a cool idea in theory, I am sure some got seats from Yankee and Shea stadium when they closed down and mounted them in their "sports" room but for $500 bucks, plus Giants colors? That is a tough sell.

    My thoughts exactly. Red and Blue doesn't quite fit into my Jets Green decor.

    I believe the steel legs are lag-bolted into the concrete. I imagine they'll just remove the bolts (unscrew them or cut them off with power tools) and let the new owner figure out how he wants to mount them to whatever.
