Good thing the Yankees do not play in the National League East. The Mets, Phillies, Braves, Nationals and Marlins would bury them in sixth place.

And here's a lesson for all of you ladies out there: Don't do crack during pregnancy. Look what it can do to your children.

What did JoeJet's teacher say to his parents when they asked if he was going to pass the sixth grade, Alex?

You're aware that Jeter is statistically the Yankees best hitter with RISP right?

He's also been top 10 in GIDP the last couple years and is 11th overall among active players.

Burnett's suspension started today, brought down to 5 games from 6.

CC Sabathia out in the 2nd inning with an injury, no word yet on what it is. Didn't seem to be favoring anything but Giradi and co. saw otherwise

New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia left the game against the Florida Marlins in the second inning with tightness in his left bicep.

A team trainer went out to look at Sabathia while he was warming up for the inning. He gave up a one-out double to Brett Carroll, then Yankees manager Joe Girardi and a team trainer went out to check on the left-hander again before taking him out of the game.

The team said Sabathia is day to day and that no tests are planned.

Aceves is really a great guy to have in the bullpen. 2.2 shutout innings of one-hit ball with 2 strike outs. Hopefully Tomko can deliver a couple effective innings

    6-3 Marlins in the 8th.

Two women were just thrown out for fighting.

John Sterling wants Suzyn Waldman to be the next commissioner.
