Woody Johnson 2 hours ago on twitter: Just spoke to Rex. He's fired up about the season as you can probably tell. I think he's sending a msg to all season ticket holders soon.
It would be nice to sell out that stadium for real; this way we could have 1300 screaming fans actually in their seats for the first and fourth quarter. The noise would be deafening for our opposition.
Well, I just got off the phone with the Jets Ticket Office and I picked my non-PSL upper deck tickets for 2010 in the new stadium. Goodbye, lower end zone. I can't do the PSL thing. Woody and the Jets live in another universe than me. I asked how those PSL's are selling and the guy says "great". Are you buying that? I'm not.
i really wish that there was someone who could hold them accountable rather than them just continuing to bullshit everyone. did anyone ever hear anything further about the lawsuit that was filed due to them trying to control demand for the auctioned tickets?
Jetsetter, would you be so kind as to go to the 17a New Stadium Tour thread and post what choices you were offered, what you got and what you turned down? Many of us in that thread are benefitting from guys like you in terms of what's left and what our options might be. Thanks in advance.

Got the voice message a little while ago. Was kind of fun to hear Rex on my phone, once he got going he was just rambling on about the defense and whatntot. I was like "Rex man, let me call you back, I'm in the middle of something."
Oh yeah, when I told him that I hoped the Jets had taken a lesson from the empty seats at Yankee and Met games, he tell me something like "they charge like $100,000 a ticket. They're idiots." Yeah, what does that make the New York Jets? I pray the lower decks look worse than the seats behind the plate at Yankee Stadium.
"The PSL sales are going great. We have sold out most sections and are making more on these seats than actually planned. The lower decks are being filled with all of our long time fans."
It's a recording. If you listen to it, you have to wonder WTF it's all about. Sounds kind of embarrassing, actually, like Woody put him up to it on the spur of the moment and he just recorded the obligatory message with very little or no rehearsal just to fulfil Woody's request. Part of Woody's PSL push, no doubt. Like a recorded message from Ryan is gonna make me fork over 30 Grand.
