RUMOR: Packers agree to Swap picks with the Saints

Everyone relax. We were all content with our draft situation up untill this Bush crap went down. If we don't land Bush so what? We are still getting a great player in Brick at #4.

 

The guy did say that before Mario was signed, so maybe he knows something. Hopefully not.

It's a deal that makes a ton of sense. They need an offensive threat like Bush, and the Saints would be in position to get Hawk, the best guy at their biggest position of need.

 

Yes, Brick, who's a player at a position we don't need (we need a RT!) with holes in his game, instead of one of the best college football players ever.

 

I have followed that Bongo59 thread... he said the Saints want Javon Walker, BAD! I can believe that there may be something in the works here... it would be perfect for the Saints as the 2 players they had the most interest in are Brick and Hawk, however don't count them out on Vernon Davis either.

GB send #5, Walker to Saints for #2, Stallworth... or something like that.

I think that opens the door for us to trade with San Fran so they are guaranteed VD before New Orleans... we get Hawk? (and Bongo says we want Cutler, just not at 4).

I am not putting any stock in what he has said... all I am saying is that he just mentioned this same subject, and I was introducing what he wrote to this thread... thats all.

 

I think we want GB to trade up, this way NO ends up at 5... and since many people think Brees needs a TE like Gates it will force SF to trade with us to get Vernon if they REALLY want him.

If not I think we can get some action from Oakland, at this point I just want to trade back to add some picks... with all this top 5 hype people are forgetting how deep this draft is. We need to ad at least another 2nd rounder... scouts have said the 2nd round value this year is like gold.

 

I think it's definitley a possibility, but wouldn't happen that quick.

Let's hope this doesn't happen.
