IMO,the Jets will strongly consider AJ Hawk at # 4. Hawk is now the best defensive player on the board since Mario is gone.

I expect someone to trade up for Bush at #2, maybe SF. Jets could trade up, but I doubt it.

Our pick if we stay at 4.....Hawk or D'Brick.

Agreed, but I really hope we trade up. I think if we don't it will be Brick.

I agree with you, and I hope it's Hawk.

If we don't trade up to #2 for Bush, I think Hawk is a very good possibility.

THANK GOD Williams is off the board.

I didn't want him, and thought he was big time overrated. The Texans made a HUGE mistake here. If they wanted Williams, you deal down. Someone would have paid a good price for Bush.

They couldn't really trade down if they wanted him because the Saints wanted him at #2 most likely.

Everyone is discounting the Qbs because the media says they aren't interested.. I find that pretty funny, like the media has any idea how we feel about the Qbs..

Doubtful. With Mario off the ball, our pick will likely be Bush, Leinart, Ferguson or a trade down. Hawk is not in our top 4.

I think the odds on D'Brick being a Jet just got a lot better with Houston taking Williams off the board.

    1. New Orleans was leaning towards D'Brick but will likely now take Bush or trade down to 5 or lower. So D'Brick now falls to the 4 at least.

    2. D'Brick is the top-rated offensive lineman in the draft.

    3. D'Brick is from the New York area and would be a hometown hero for the image conscious (Vinny became big in NY because he was from NY) Jets/

    4. The Jets badly need help on the offensive line.

There are just too many converging interests that say take D'Brick for the Jets to do anything else.
