In listenting to the Cimini interview, he mentions that Green Bay has some interest in Vince Young. Here is one idea.... Green Bay trades Jets #5 and Aaron Rodgers (sp?) for our #4. They take Young, we still get whom ever we want at #5 AND have a 3rd string QB prospect. I admit I don't know much about Rodgers other then he went high last year... but this seems like a great trade for both if their interest is genuine. I guess the real question for Jets would be is Rodgers better than the 2nd tier. Thoughts?
If they wanted Young, they would have to trade up to 3. And if the Titans didn't take him they wouldn't trade up. I don't see them taking a QB, they will go with Rodgers for the future. They wouldn't trade him to move up just one spot.
Yeah.. in thinking about it we probably would have at least needed to pretend we were interested in Young...
why would they trade rodgers if they haven't even given a chance. He could turn out into a huge bargain (considering some projected him the #1 overall pick and he fell to the packers) and it's only one spot. And this would be assuming young falls to the jets which he probably wont and i doubt the jets would even take young at 4. This is just some BS IMO
ok... now that we MAY take Hawk... b/c of williams gone.. this deal has more life... especially if GB was really targetting hawk.
