There will not be any Upper Decks seats for you to choose from by the time your 2004 seniority dates rolls around.

    Sorry.

No problem. Contact Champ via PM.

He owns his new set of seats but rents them to "tenants." Give him a call.

Thanks bro. I'd much rather you break the news to me than some dbag from the Jets office . I honestly don't have a grasp of how the new seats are selling out, how many people are rejecting them and what will be available when it's my turn to choose.

They're doing this in two phases. In the first phase, they tried to sell the premium club seats and took seat preferences from everyone. That's done now.

We're now in the second phase, and in this phase, they started with 1977 seniority and are working their way up to the current date. As you'd expect, a majority of folks are opting for the no-PSL seats in the upper deck. Since the no-PSL seats are so desirable, the Jets estimated that they'd be gone by, I think, 1983 or 1984 seniority. Others have made similar estimates here.

I think there's much less than a 1 percent chance that they'll be available for 2004 seniority. However, there should be tons of PSL seats available. The Giants had to go through their entire waiting list before they could sell all of their PSL seats. So, you'll be able to get seats as long as you're OK with a PSL.

Mind you, I'm worse off than you as 2009 will likely be the first year I have seats in my name. I'm going to toss a coin between $5k PSL seats (if still available) and a 60 inch TV, draft beer, assortment of grills, etc :)

    Seat Selection

Was one of the first to be called on 5/5/09 have seniority pre 1977.
the best they had was section 338 row 11 in the upper primes. No way I was paying the Jets any PSL money. The only other option was End zone Mezz.
End zone seats are terrible to watch a football game. I would rather watch from home. good luck to everyone.

Oh, I see. When you said "I would rather watch from home" I thought you meant you turned them down.

    Im in row 12.

I did not go yet...my seats were transferred to my name in 1992.

I think they are up to 1983 now.

I'm going to miss our view.

I am reading this for the first time as I've been off the board for awhile too. This is quite a bombshell indeed, 17a. I'm saddened to hear this but hopeful that maybe the Jets worked you into front row Uppers or something like that, given your seniority date. Someone like you should NOT be screwed. (Well, someone like me shouldn't be either, but that'll be the case).

I do know that the PSL seat prices will escalate though... probably escalate at an alarming rate. I'm the one who posted this prediction, and how I know this with such certainty has been posted many, many times throughout this entire thread. Ask any Mezz (so-called "Premium seat") ticketholder... any one... to describe the increases he's had in that "Premium Section" since Woody took over for Leon. A 10% add-on doubles the initial number within 7.5 years and that's what happened to us up there... do the math folks. You're going to see it again beginning in 2011, mark my words.

does anyone know what percentage of season ticket holders are not renewing/putting deposits down for psls in the new stadium. This board is not a good barometer since we are the diehards and will show a better retention rate. I ask because Rutgers football raised their ticket prices $10 per seat and only retained 90% of the subscribers.....I also dropped RU tickets.....not necessarily because of price increase but because I know with my 2006 Jets seniority I will sacrifice Rutgers football to get hopefully a good psl with the Jets
