    I don't know enough about the prospects to evaluate the deal, but 3 for a McLouth type seems steep, especially when I've heard of at least one of them (Gorkys...great name).

    Francessa loves McLouth. Was ranting all winter the Yankees should trade for him.

    I know of Charlie Morton. He pitched for the Braves last season.

    Great trade for both teams. I think Pitt got the better of the trade

    the pirates fail at life, why would you give your team leader/ best player away for prospects, and its not like they were going to lose him, they had him signed through 2011

    mclouth is a classic 5 tool player...perfect 2 or 3 spot hitter.
