They want to be in a secluded area where it's just the team. They want to be in a place with less distractions. Since many of the players live around Florham Park, they wanted to travel a distance away from that
Double D's is another place to kill some time between practices. It's right off 287 in Morris Plains. It's a pretty good titty bar that I use to frequent whenever I'm in the Motown area.
I'd say each will be 1.5-2 hours. Thats what it has usually been. Cameras are allowed, but not video cameras. http://www.newyorkjets.com/camp/faq Its on the link I posted.
According to what was reported the Jet- SUNY-Cortland partnership is for an 1 year trial basis. The Jets want to make sure it works for them before commiting to a long term deal.
That's during training camp. Training camp will still be open to the public in July and August, only its in upstate New York now. If I remember correctly, this is the first time the Jets have opened a mini-camp to the public? But anyways, TC will still be open to the public as it was in previous years, just in a different location. And places to go in the area? Outside the malls, not much else unless youre into roller blading. Florham Park Roller Rink is right around the corner. There's also a pizza hut KFC combo restaurant around there I believe that i always used to hit up.

All you need to know if you are going to camp http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/football/jets/blog/ Rod Boone Even though the weather certainly isn't going to cooperate, this week will have a bit of an August feel to it. After wrapping up their final Organized Team Activity session last Thursday, it's now time for the Jets to conclude their offseason training with the mandatory minicamp, scheduled for tomorrow through Thursday out at the The Hanger. And for the first time in the franchise's long history, not only will the minicamp not be held at Hofstra, but the practices will also be open to the public. Admission is free and the parking lots open a half-hour before the Generation Jets area opens. That's right. So that means you can toss a cooler loaded with goodies in the trunk, buckle the kiddies in the back seat, and pluck down more than $2.70 per gallon to gas your car up for the ride over to The Hangar. Nothing like a little full-squad football action to whet the appetite as the NFL prepares to go dark for most of the next month-plus before training camp starts. If you can swing the trek, you can get the answers to some of your burning questions. You get to see Mark Sanchez's progress in his battle with Kellen Clemens for the starting quarterback job. You'll get to hear the non-stop yakking of linebacker Bart Scott as he lines up in the aggressive defense that we've been discussing and writing about. Additionally, you can keep your eyes parked on Vernon Gholston so you'll have your own answer to all those "So, how does he look?" inquiries that keep getting tossed out there. Want that first glimpse of rookie running back Shonn Greene while also getting an early peek at how swole Thomas Jones is? Now's your time. Yes, you can even get a better handle on how the race between punters Eric Wilbur and T.J. Conley is shaping up. I know you guys are salivating over who emerges on top in that battle. We'll have several updates, including our detailed practice reports, right here throughout the week. With this being our last real access to the team until the end of July, we're looking to quench your thirst for all things Jets this week. So keep checking back with us daily and don't forget to drop back by Friday when we'll hold our second Live Chat at noon. In case you need a little somethin' extra to chew on in the meantime, check out these darts Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder hurled the Jets way over the weekend. He's Joey Porter-esque.
