http://www.thejetsblog.com/2009/05/28/news-mark-sanchez-sure-is-a-fast-learner/ not my title - i just copied the title of the blog
I think the point is that he's already made a lot of progress and is working like hell to make himself better. No one is putting him in the HOF yet, it's just a little article about his progress after 1 week.
Rooting for Sanchez, but devil's advocate post: Clemens from everything we've read is doing exactly the same and has been bustin his ass extra hard
If Clemens can step up and prove he can play, we are in a good situation. There's nothing wrong with having 2 QBs that can play on our team. It would be odd having 2 good QBs battling for the starting job, as we are so used to a bunch of shitty back-ups trying to earn a starting job.
best case scenario , we end up with a rivers/ brees situation..worst case we end up with a o donnell/ foley!
If KC has a big year he will have zero motive for staying with the Jets. This team is tight for cap space and has committed to Sanchez. If KC plays well its likely that the Jets will not have the highest salary offer. And KC is from Oregon, I'm sure he'd take a little off his salary to be back on the West Coast with his family.
This was one of the things that has impressed me the most about Sanchez. His willingness to be a complete professional.
Totally, I mean, remember that guy we had last year before we went out and got Favre. What was that shitty backup's name again?
JetsUK hit it on the head. Franchise him, trade him to the Seahawks for the Broncos first pick. Having too many valuable quarterbacks on your roster is one of those good problems, ya know?
I agree and that's what I am hoping for. We should all root for both QB's, nothing wrong with a Bress/Rivers situation and then trade Clemens in a year or 2 for high pick.
Wow that's funny, he does look like him... Nevertheless the Seahawks head coach is now Jim Mora... Additionally The Jets do Not play the Seahawks this year
