I'd like to see some form of the wishbone with LW and Woodhead as the tailbacks, T.Rich as the FB, and Brad Smith as the QB. They could split out Keller on one side and Clowney on the other in order to keep the safeties honest. I think this could be real exciting to see either of those tailbacks in open space and cause some misdirection by having both on the field together. And maybe, just maybe they could even get Brad Smith to launch a deep ball or 2 for Clowney/Keller.
isn't there a crazy formation that some high schools use with no offensive lineman and everybody just goes out for passes or some shit like that? well, since bart scott said this year is all about violence, we can send faneca out on some routes to just knock out the backers and corners
You're probably talking about the A-11 offense. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-11_offense
Since this thread sucks, I'll rant. Terrible move by that association to ban facets of the A-11 offense. You don't get to choose who comes to your high school, and you don't necessarily get to choose who plays football (for the most part). That being said, a gimmick offense like this really helps schools that cannot compete with legitimate high school power houses. It's really a shame, it was fun to watch, and the players loved it. Ok, I'm done.
this is about this time i started laughing. look, i don't get the b smith love... every time i see him touch the ball on offense i see more bad than good. mayhaps its just me, but its the story i'm stickin' too.
You aren't paying attention then because we almost always get a good gain when he gets the ball. 2009 Rushing: Code: att yds ypc lng 12 113 9.4 36
I'd like to see Clowney run out to the first telephone pole, and hook left, with Thomas Jones hurling it to him.
