D'brick is better then any LT the raiders have. I know that technically isn't hard to have considering it's the raiders but D'brick had a pro bowl season last yr. Henderson is a one yr wonder so far

Let's see the hype up schillens, shields of the world with their awesome combine #'s do anything this year with your future RT Russell at the helm

Dbrickshaw Ferguson nobody in the NFl thinks is very good. Only jets fans believe he one of the better left tackles. Mario Henderson doesn't have enough body of work to say hes better than an average at best Dbrustshaw Ferguson. Again but the bar isn't that high for Mario Henderson to have to reach.

I love this quote in Profootball weekly 2009 draft . In the Jet section in the back. Hes no mandarich but 06 NO 4 pick Dbrickshaw Ferguson more closer to the Packers bust, than to Tony boselli. Ferguson is chronically underweight and his metabolism , has kept him from being a road grader omn outside. Hes a cpable performer but is nowhere the player Jets thought he was coming out of virginia. The more pressing concern is the right side Etc.

Again I don't have to have to hype Schilensx. The guy going to be a stud and was a absolute robberry in the seventh round.

Only you don't think he is any good...your football IQ isn't even negative..it goes beyond that..D'brick is a capable pass blocker and his run blocking has improved.

I'd gladly take D'brick over the trash on your offensive line..

Schilens is no stud at all until he proves it. Catching some passes during the end of the season doesn't translate into anything.

Were all waiting for Jamarcus BUSTell to showcase that he is worth the #1 overall pick..but don't worry you'll just convert him into a RT in the future

Again that wasn't my opinion but people who follow the NFl for a living. I can produce alot of articles that pretty much say the same thing about ferguson. Jet fans like with all there players, they tend to severly overrate them.

Now Dbricksahw ferguson just a capable pass blocker- In your own words. Now does that sound like you really think hes probowl worthy. He hasn't improved in the slighest blocking for the run. Thats just a lie.

Ive even seen jet fans tryu to say Damien Woody was a capable starter at RT. Maybe thats the problem compare to D woody dbrickshaw looks like a probowl player.
Dbrickshaw Ferguson better hope Little Marty never leaves. A very short passing game can hide any tackles short commings.

I never said our pass protection was stellar. I simply pointed out that the drop off wasn't as steep as you seemed to think. We play a whopping 7 teams next season that we didn't face last year. I'm not sure which of those teams is so vastly improved in its pass rushing that you feel last year's statistics are a hugely unfair barometer.

I know this: our offensive line was working together for the first time in its entirety last season, and will improve heading into this season.

As far as your predictions, I've already pointed out how horribly inconsistent they are. When you throw out 800 predictions about the season, a few are bound to stick. Overall, your success rate falls somewhere between idiotic and mentally retarded, with the needle swinging toward the latter.

Your in for a rude awaking if you think another year is going to improve your Oline. Another year and D woody and alan Faneca might slip alittle bit more in their pass blocking. Neither aren't getting any better at this point, they can only going down and fast.

The raiders could have had at least ten sacks against the Jets if favre wasn't back there. You don't have an experience QB and rookies Qb tend to hold the ball just a little longer. Of course Jet sack total going to go way up.

Couple other points. Your Wr corps is even worse than last year. Your Wr can't get seperation from defenders what option does the QB have.

Team load up to stop the run and get Jets in obvious passing situation. Look out Dirty sanchez.

You don't have to respond, lets just see how far im off on thnis prediction.

How is that tackle the Raiders drafted in the first round working out, Gallery?

Oh that's right, he sucked so bad they moved him to guard.

Didn't work out at tackle but playing at a probowl level at guard. Keeps getting better every year. (1 sack and only three penalties last year) Your paying faneca LT money too. He was horrible in pass protection 7.5 sacks and bad news is only going to slip more.

The price of guards has gone up tremendously the last few years. It is another trend in the NFL. And since when has Gallery gone to a Pro Bowl?

Should have went last year instead of faneca. Sooner or later reputation alone (no longer deserved) not going to get it done anymore. Thats why Probowl voting has become a joke.

Look everybody, it's the only player picked in the top 8 of the 2004 draft to never go to a Pro Bowl.

If you watched Brett Favre play last year, you would know that he held on the ball WAY too long, and is vastly immobile. Russel on the other hand can actually move, that doesn't mean your offensive lineman are better. Faneca's pass protection is solid, and his run blocking is elite.

And for once, I'll somewhat agree with you, D'brick isn't playing like a top 5 pick. He's solid, maybe slightly above average... but not elite.

Dude Faneca pass blocking is not solid- 7.5 sacks is not solid especially in a short passing attack. Its quite an embarrassment . Favre might have holded the ball but he always knew when to release it. See raider game. Raiders could have easily had 10 sacks that game. Raiders gave Favre one of the worst beatings in his career. Yet he took the beating and took the big hit everytime he threw the ball. Instead of taking the sack.

Lay off the kid, people. He is right in a way...

In fact, Al Davis IS building a dynasty - only he is surpassed by the Ford family in doing so. He is building Dynasty of Futility. Raiders haven't won more than 1/3 of the season for quite a while - that's very difficult thing to do, in a parity-driven league of today. You have to have that "commitment to excrement" to achieve such an accomplishment.
