If Ngata is there -- say at 12-14 -- should the Jets trade their late 1st Rounder PLUS the 2nd rounder to grab this 340-pound killer DT ? If he's not there, assuming they haven't grabbed Ferguson earlier, we could also use a pick in the 12-14 area to grab a good tackle like Winston. Thoughts ?
Nope, he is a giant teddy bear and does not have the aggression for the next level, his size was what got him by in college
the ravens want ngata, the only rumor with trading up with the ravens is only if ngata WAS NOT on the board and cutler still available... this way we trade our 2 picks up to 13 and take cutler.. but we would not be trading with the ravens for ngata since itsthe player they are targeting..
Ngata is looking like he is another Warren Sapp, maybe better, and 10% bigger !! I can't believe you guys aren't sold on this guy. 340 pounds? Can you imagine how much better the linebackers will be? Imagine how the DE's will be able to skoot around outside with interior blockers fixated on stopping him on passing downs? I'd give up the late 1st and the 2nd to get to 13 to draft him. And I might throw in another pick to move up a few more to insure it.
Justice is falling.....might not get picked until the 20's. Can someone add a poll here asking if it makes sense to package #29 and #34 to move up to #13 IF it means getting Ngata (or maybe also Cutler?)?
