    Hey all,

I know this board is innundated with mocks and draft talk and all of our heads are about to explode, but i did a first round mock today and thought i'd post it for my 99th or 100th post (somewhere around there) anyway. There's a bold trade, and a good jets trade too. see what you all think. I can't friggin wait fo the actual draft!!!

    1. Texans -- Reggie Bush, RB, USC (they then trade him to the 49ers for the rights to D'Brickashaw, the 22nd pick overall, the 84th pick overall, and a 2nd round pick in 2007)
    2. Saints -- Mario Williams, DE, NC St.
    3. Titans -- Vince Young, QB, Texas
    4. Jets -- Vernon Davis, TE, Maryland
    5. Packers -- A.J. Hawk, LB, THE Ohio St. University
    6. 49ers -- D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia (see Reggie Bush trade above)
    7. Raiders -- Matt Lienert, QB, USC
    8. Rams (from Bills - they swap #11 and #77 for #8) -- Jay Cutler, QB, Vandy
    9. Lions -- Michael Huff, S, Texas
    10. Cards -- Winston Justice, OT, USC
    11. Bills (from Rams) -- Broderick Bunkley, DT, Florida St.
    12. Browns -- Kamerion Wimbley, DE, Florida St.
    13. Ravens -- Haloti N'Gata, DT, Oregon
    14. Bucs (from Eagles -- they swap #23 and #59 for #14) -- Ernie Sims, LB, Florida St.
    15. Broncos -- Chad Jackson, WR, Florida
    16. Dolphins -- Santonio Holmes, WR, THE Ohio St. University
    17. Jets (from Vikings -- they swap #29, #71 and #117 for #17) -- Manny Lawson, DE/LB, NC. St.
    18. Cowboys -- Bobby Carpenter, LB, THE Ohio St. University
    19. Chargers -- Tye Hill, CB, Clemson
    20. Chiefs -- Antonio Cromartie, CB, Florida St.
    21. Patriots -- Chad Greenway, OLB, Iowa
    22. Texans (from 49ers) -- Jason Allen, FS, Tennessee
    23. Eagles (from Bucs) -- Nick Mangold, C, THE Ohio St. University
    24. Bengals -- Jonathan Joseph, CB, South Carolina
    25. Giants -- Jimmy Williams, CB, Virginia Tech
    26. Bears -- Sinorice Moss, WR, The U
    27. Panthers -- Donte Whitner, S, THE Ohio St. University
    28. Jags -- D'Angelo Williams, RB, Memphis
    29. Vikings (from Jets) -- DeMeco Ryans, LB, Alabama
    30. Colts -- Lawrence Maroney, RB, Minnesota
    31. Seahawks -- Ashton Youboty, CB, THE Ohio St. University
    32. Steelers -- Lendale White, RB, USC

There it is! All of the trades add up according to the draft chart (http://www.thehuddlereport.com/NickelPackage/tradevaluechart.htm). The Bush trade is weird, but i have a strange feeling about it. Plus, he'd be reunited with his high school QB Alex Smith...and the 49ers really need playmakers. The Texans get the O-Line help they need, a FS that they need, an early 3rd rounder, and a 2nd next year...good deals for everyone.

As for my Jets, they can then take a quality O-lineman at #35, another o-lineman, a QB or an RB at #99, and they still have an early 4th round pick as well. I think this would be the best case scenario for them...

now go ahead and rip it apart!!

Don't like the Davis selection at #4. Indifferent on the trade up with Vikings, though with so many holes to fill, I don't think we can afford it (even though you've valued the trade correctly from a pick standpoint).

D'Brick at 4 over Vernon and Leinart is my ideal choice. I think our biggest hole is OT and D'Brick can fill it.

Better start to get angry, because I don't see that happening at all.

There's a forum for mock drafts. Use it.

I don't understand why every single mock draft I've seen in the last 2 or so days has Leinart slipping to 7. If he came out last year he would have been #1. No way he slips past #4 this year.

Even if we don't want him we would draft him at #4 and send him to Oakland or some other team via trade & pick up some extra picks/players.
