Just heard this on ESPN, supposedly Donald Trump who has built a relationship with Matt Leinart called the Jets to try and get them to draft Leinart. Will the jets draft leinart at 4? How loud would the boos be at the draft? Will the jets succumb to the fan pressure to get leinart? LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN!
if this is true, then Mangini and Tannenbaum should now be fully convinced NOT to draft Leinart. cheers
according to ESPN the NY Jets actually like Leinart. They said if Mario is gone and the choice is between Leinart & D'brick that the Jets are more likely to choose the QB.
why did the Jets even visit with Vince Young? It's insulting to roll out the red carpet for Jay Cutler, take him out to a steak dinner with Woody, then turn and not even send the head coach and GM to Texas...

if matt leinart does happen to fall to us. Then look out for the trade with Raiders. I dont like leinart he seems like a good guy and all.
Well while I do not agree with that, if they draft Leinart because Trump asked them too, then we have a problem.
i would love leinart because he would bring soo much to our team and i think he has decent arm strength and accuraccy(could be a awsome qb if he learned how to takee hits)
If Leinart can get Paris Hilton to come to games and training camp i think this is sumthin else we have to add into the equation of whether to get Leinart if hes there.

i honestly dont see how you can pass on leinart if he is sitting there.. that would really be bad day in jets draft history.
