It really does amaze me as to just how many coaches are really out of shape. As a coach, you're witness to some of the best training programs in the land, have access to nutritionists, trainers and facilities. Is it so tough for a guy to take 1/2 hour during his busy day and run some laps with the team, put up a few reps in the gym? I'd be walking around like "Ahnold" in a month if I had such access....
i'd imagine something similar can be said about shoes too, although its harder to blur the line, so to speak, as a number of different factors can play into men's shoe "collections". edit: also, i suppose in this market it was only a matter of time.
He's right. He's huge and training camp and the season has not started yet where he will be sleeping 3 hrs. a day. He's gonna drop dead soon so I hope we have a backup plan. Probably have a stroke the same day Sanchez blows out his knee knowing our Team. And don't get all crazy on me, its not what I hope, its the first thing I thought of when I saw the OTA picture. He's a big fat slob and a heart attack awaiting
He is not any bigger than half the rest of the coaches on the planet. He is an AWESOME coach & this is going to be a great year for the JETS.
Why stop there? I mean the guy is so overweight that he'll likely take down the team plane and we'll have to build from scratch.
Man oh man, Tough crowd. The guy probably works 20 hours/day and works on barely any sleep. Yes he should be more responsible about his own health but when you're a workaholic to that extreme I could see how it'd be kinda easy to fall prey to lots of high calorie meals and little exercise. That said Rex, take care of yourself El Slobberino :shit:
Yea i mean granted as a headcoach you probably wont have the time for full workouts but you could sneak in some morning runs or walks....I use to go to Nova southeastern University right next to the dolphins training facility and i would always see Sparano on his daily walk/run on my way to class so you know hes no0t in the best shape but atleast he tries to keep himself from getting huge
An NFL coach has never died while coaching in my recent memory.....but Reid looks like he may be the firstIMO
has anyone even seen Parcells during the season when he was coaching? He had old man bitch tits. I don't get why this is such a big deal. The dude is tall enough to wear the weight he has on him - stop thinking he's morbidly obese. Fucking Jets fans, geez.
fuckin a -- definitely andy reid. that fukker looks real ill all the time. seriously though, the tuna was the best in his fat, overweight, heart attack days--as a jets coach that is. he did win a SB with the other tenants in "our new stadium" (fuk you jets... pull that bs on me) while looking a little more svelte.
I'm thinking the man could probably do himself a favor and drop perhaps 30lbs. With all the stress that goes into being a coach, I'm hoping his ticker doesn't give out on him during the season. Do coaches have to take physicals as well?? He looks happy. He certainly doesn't look healthy. Could be just his genetic makeup. Could be his wife's 7 layer cakes too..
Ha, I am not misreable in real life but with the jets its always worse case scenario after all these years. When you are as huge as this guy and you eat like crap and don't work out you are going to have health problems and after the June/July break he's gonna work longer, harder and eat worse and get even fatter. Have you seen the picture of his gut? And I hope he's a great coach but I said the same thing about Mangini and Edwards so now for me, its a wait and see. Andy Reid is another one but Andy Reid is a great coach. TALK IS CHEAP!!
You have feelings??? I put to much feelings into my posts, I am very opinionated and I have decided not take take the Jet kool aid anymore, I want to see results, not here about what's gonna happen.
i personally dont think andy reid wil make it through the '09 season....i just cant believe his heart has held up......he is naseauting just to look at.....Please Rex Ryan take care of yourself PLEASE!! we need you bro!
