I had the exact same setup on my feet/ankles for football. Sexy.

I've read that Greene spent two years on the bench. Who did Iowa have that they thought was better than this guy? I wonder if the coaches are kicking themselves in the pants over that one.

FireMangini, that is a good question. When Greene was a Freshman and Sophomore, Iowa had two upperclassman RBs named Albert Young and Damian Sims. Young had 1334 yards his Jr. year and Sims 300 (10 yd avg). Their Sr. year they combined for 1450 yards and were a good duo. Greene showed flashes of brilliance his Sophomore season, rushing 32 times for 205 yards (6.4 avg), but Iowa went with the experience.

Who knows how well Shonn would have done caryying the ball more that year? In hindsight it is a good question, but we didn't lack talent... Albert Young is now on the Vikings roster (stuck behing A Peterson).

A year off and then his huge season... the rest is history.

LMAO. He's still in perfect stride. Why is this guy holding a pad? He tried to mess with a rookie re-living his glory years in high school. Denied!!

Wow a few things stand out about Greene. He has great balance and there will be no arm tackling of him. T.Jones is the softest pumped up RB I've seen. He goes down very easily for a 220 lb back. Greene will replace him by next year.

He's actually more of a maxed out 215lb back.
