I think this would be a good idea. -T.J. is getting older and there is no way he will be the leading rusher (or close to it) next season. -If theres a team that values TJ as much as the Jets, its the Browns. Nowhere else could we get the same kind of trade value for him. -I didn't like how Jones bashed Favre even if it was the truth. Players don't do that towards other players. Clearly with the demands for the new contract and the Favre bashing, Jones is a me first kind of guy. Braylon isn't any better, but I see this as a wash since we're trading an attitude for another attitude. -TJ just isn't that good. Faneca, Woody, Mangold and Moore deserve the credit. TJ had a few 80 yard runs that brought his numbers up. Other games he was marginal with 3.4 yards a carry. -RBs have the easiest adjustment to the NFL. Greene doesn't even have to worry about being the guy from day 1. Washington can cleary take at least half the load off of him. While Tanny shouldn't give up everything for Edwards, TJ and a 3rd would be another steal. Hell, I could see us getting Edwards by just giving up TJ and Smith. Edward's salary is my only concern.

If we get Edwards for Jones, we definitly gotta make Mangini a Breakfast. I?m not a big Edwards fan, but if we would get a young potential #1 WR for a 30 yo above-average RB, it?s a nobrainer. btw, TJ is a year older, than Jamal Lewis.
I disagree. TDs mean more than catches and total yards. I mean, there are always players like Zach Crockett, but if you can rack up TDs that means you can produce when the focus is on you and when it matters most.
