Guess this means Sanchez doesn't have to pay Hodges anymore

No big deal, Hodges was no better than average and from the very little i have seen of Mason, i haven't been impressed.

Wasn't Mason the preseason's leading rusher last year? Oh well, more roster spots for Woodhead and Cook.

Must really like Conley though I still really would like us to add Aaron Perez out of UCLA

mmm.. Mark Sanchez wears 6 and Shonn Greene wears 23... and they cut the two guys that wear 6 and 23... maybe they are just doing it to free those two numbers and then re-sign them by tomorrow.

Who was the punter from last year who wore #4 before the Favre trade?

Geez--he was still the best we had--whatever he did or didn't do at the voluntary practice, we should all learn to avoid doing it in the future.

Regarding the old punter with number 4, was it Kapinos?

It looks like Joe Smith is back with his minor league team in Yakima. I found the following on their site....

    Yakima improves to 4-0.
The Yakima Mavericks traveled to Oak Harbor a little short handed but still had enough to win their forth straight. The team was led by Joe Smith who went 5-5 kicking field goals from 29, 60 (yes 60 yards), 31, 48, and 31. Not only was Joe money kicking field goals but also had several touchbacks on kickoffs, and punted the cover off the ball when he was asked to punt, including one punt for 71 yard.

jets waive reggie hodges.. does that mean-

that sanchez still needs to pay up on the little side deal for his jersey number?
