Jets already are making some moves. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2009/04/new_york_jets_begin_rounding_u.html
knowing nothing about college football, is "TE/LS Andrew Davie (Arkansas)" the blocking TE we so desperately need? and is there any chance P TJ Conley (Idaho) will be our punter for the next few years instead of the current revolving door?
well when you are dipping into the UDFA pool, nobody is really anything, except a project, or a talented guy with big time trouble with the law or injuries. From what I understand Davie is more of a blocker than reciever, but that doesnt mean he is any better a blocker than Dustin Keller is right now. Also Conley has some average over 47 yards per punt, that said dont get overly excited because he punts in a dome in Idaho, and every team in the west has much nicer weather and doesnt have to deal with the wind, the cold the rains and the snow that NY does.
yeah, i figured that none of these guys are definite stars or else they would have been drafted. thanks for the info!
