I'm not high on Conley right now - he has legit stats, but he plays for the Idaho Vandals...who play in a dome.

I want to see him punt on an outdoor team and put up those kind of stats.

Myers is, per nfldraftcountdown, more of a receiver than blocker.

wow Conley averaged 47.4 yards per punt last season... Season long 74... Extemely mediocre prior to that season though

According to draftcountdown, Myers is a "sub par blocker" so I don't see much there

But he played more than half of his 2008 season games indoors...that's the whole point of me wanting to see what he can do outdoors.

He's never played in a place like the Meadowlands...

I can see Rob Myers getting converted to fullback/h-back. He was being compared to Chris Cooley before he was severely injured.

I don't see him making the team as a tight end...

I feel bad for Cosby, ESPN interviewed him with Bill and everything, Bill started talking about the Millions he would be making.... can he play? He seemed like a stand up guy to put up with Bill who clearly was losing it....

...but in nice weather - Nevada, California, Arizona, and Hawaii...

Conley has never had to punt in rain, mud, or snow.

He had his best game against LA Tech, which is a southeast school, but he got a lot of nice bounces in that game -- LA Tech runs some stupid shit with 3 return men...at times works great, but other times all three returners get confused - causing no returns.

Falcons signed Kelly. We can't even sign the right players.

Conley's can't be much worse than what we have.

Sanchez took Hodges number, I say we don't assign him a new one:

How about the agreement is Sanchez takes your number and you never come back to New York.

Yeah, it's entirely possible that Sanchez would have had to wait until training camp started before we cut Hodges, and he could have grabbed his number anyway :)

Stop complaining..it got old yesterday - Aaron Kelly is from Marietta, Georgia. Who do you think he'd rather sign with New York or Atlanta?

Did not know that. Still, I think he'll be an NFL starter.

Conley is still worth a look, he is a Walter Camp All-American.

He's definitely worth a look - I'm not saying he's a bad punter at all. He was the best punter in the WAC, maybe the whole west coast.

I've been reading up on him - his hang time is awful and a lot of big returns happen against Idaho because of it.
