Yeah, I guess I can see that. I mean, I'm sure Keller will progress, and maybe it was just an endurance issue going from 12 to 16 games. Maybe it wasn't him at all as you said. I think he probably had a big part in it, but another year under his belt will only help. As for Henry, I just am never crazy about draft picks that only end up on the practice squad. If you're talented, then you're good enough to make the team outright. I definitely liked the pick at the time, and I mean it's a 5th round pick if I remember correctly, so you can't expect a great player, but to me, it seems like he's not exactly progressing if he's hanging out on the practice squad. I hope you're right, because he has the size to make a difference, but size isn't everything.
he got hurt in camp last year if I remember correctly... may be the reason he stayed on PC... but I'd like to see more of him in camp, and in pre-season... I liked the pick last year as well... a 5th rounder... he was very productive at Kansas... but like I said, he had problems with his release and stregnth... skinny as a rail... he needs to add weight/stregnth and learn to use his hands for his release, he has very good hands, so I'd like to see more
Oh I agree 100%. I can see Sanchez as one of those guys, and maybe the market dictated it, maybe it's clouding my vision that this is such a talentless draft that I saw him as 17th overall pick worthy and not #5. I don't know, but I just felt that we could get a very good WR and a replacement RB for the future in this draft. I thought McCoy dropped further than he should have, and I felt that this WAS such a strong WR draft that we'd be making a mistake not getting Maclin, Britt, Nicks, or Robiskie.
Stop it, Clemens had his chance and couldn't cut it. He's another Glen Foley. Sanchez is a franchise QB
