Let me preface by saying I'm not 100% for this pick, but... Why does the report say, "he makes some bad decisions..."? The guy completed 75% of his passes and threw only 4 picks this past season. Seems a little nitpicky to me.
The bio says he threw 10 picks and had a 65.8 completion %? A local sports show just said he is going to have worse WRs with the Jets then he had with USC.
I know what it means, but "won't run away from people" as a weakness is really funny to me. Mark, have you ever thought about running away from people? No. It might help your draft position. No, I said! But Mark, if you would just try running away from people, I really think-- NO NO NO! Shut up!
He's not a 5 year old, more like: Schotty: C'mon Mark, you gotta start running from people! Mark: Uh-uh, I don't run from people. Schotty: You don't run from people? Mark: Nah, I don't believe in it. Schotty: You don't believe in running from people? Rex: You know what these defenders can do to you? They'll mess you up. Mark: Don't give me that. They can't tackle me. Schotty: I don't even know a fucking RB who'd have the balls to say that. Let me get this straight: you don't ever run from people? Mark: I don't rn from people because the league says I have to. All right, if someone deserves to be run from, if they really put forth an effort, I'll consider going the other way. But this running from people automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, I'm just doing my job. Rex: Hey, there's some good defensemen out there. Mark: They're okay. They aren't anything special. Rex: What's special? Albert Haynesworth? Schotty: I'd come out on the field and carry you away from that.
He was surrounded by excellent talent at USC, that is a worry, and if he gets flustered by a heavy pass rush, that's not a great sign, a lot of NFL teams bring a heavy pass rush. Not 100% for this pick, not 100% against this pick. 16 games with excellent talent is not a good sample size.
Maybe you need to edit that, he threw for less than 75% and threw more than 4 INTs. Sad thing is that it was actually Kellen Clemens who only threw 4 INTs his last college season.
Fortunately, with our coaching change, some poor kid won't have to grow up with the name Sanchez Mangini for the rest of his life.
anybody know what this was about? apologies if its obvious but I honestly havent heard this... was he doing funnels with Heidi Montag and snortin coke off lindsay's nipps?
