    Mark Sanchez-QB- Player Apr. 21 - 6:37 pm et

ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that the Jets are "looking" into trading up in the draft for USC QB Mark Sanchez.

Sal Pal says the Jets hope Sanchez falls to No. 8, where they think they can strike a deal with Jacksonville. It doesn't seem like the Jags have serious interest in drafting Sanchez. It's just hard to imagine him getting that far. Sanchez is known to be ahead of Matthew Stafford on many teams' boards.

ESPN won't become relevant till Schefter starts reporting for them.

Please no trading up for unproven QBs!

If Seattle passes on Sanchez then it is likely that Sanchez will be available at 8.

If we are going to target and try to draft a QB i would want it to be Sanchez, I Like what he's about and from what i've seen from him at USC im a bit impressed.

It sounds like they may have to get into the top 5 for any chance at Sanchez, I can't see them getting that high. If he gets past five, he becomes in play IMO.

...oh yeah and reposting an interesting story gives posters a second chance to say something intelligent. some good stories need to be re-posted 9-10 times if you know what i mean.

I highly doubt he gets past 4 either at this point. Although it's possible he doesn't even get that far. St. Louis on the 2 should be taking whichever of the two QB's falls to them. Bulger is past it at this point and injury prone. And the Rams aren't going to put together a great team around him before he's done.
