Well, you had that Law av up long before I think anyone seriously entertained the notion of Law becoming a Jet, so if Mario is drafted by our FO, I'm going to need you to pick some lotto numbers for me.

What a great game. Everyone doubted us for "backing into the playoffs" and no one thought we had a shot. We went into san diego, and every possible thing that could go wrong for us did, and we still pulled it out. After that win, I truly thought it was our year, unfortunately we all know how that ended one week later.

"every possible thing that could go wrong for us did, and we still pulled it out."

Thats not a very good description of the game at all...the only bad thing to happen in that game was obviously Eric Barton's late hit.

You make it sound like we were losing most of the game and came back.

That was a great moment, but very overshadowed by many other, better ones. Midnight Miracle is easily the best for me. Close runners up are the Greenbay 2002 game, and the Whoop-ass on the Colts a week later. Also,Ray Lucas and the 99 Jets.

Not my favorite moment but its up there

Chad running the naked boot against Buffalo and making dude fall down. Getting faked out by a CP juke move and falling down = pure ownage.

I have a handful, mostly because I'm old.

    1981:

Todd to Barkum 16-15 win over Miami at Shea to take first, as mentioned.

Beating Green Bay in the finale at Shea to clinch the playoffs

    1982-83

Win at LA Raiders to go to AFC title game, Lance Mehl 2 late INTs.

    1985

Winning 11th game (then a team record) to clinch playoffs, at home vs Cleveland

    1986

OT 51-45 win over Miami in Week 3 at the Meadowlands, Wesley Walker 4 TDs

Wild Card win over KC to end 5-game losing streak

    1988

Ken O'Brien to Al Toon to knock the Giants out of the playoffs in the season finale.

    1991

Raul Allegre 2 FGs to win at Miami and go to the playoffs

    1998

The entire ride from mid October's win at New England on MNF (I was there) to clinching the division at Buffalo (I was there), all the way to the AFC title game. Seemed like a dream at the time.

    2001

John Hall's FG to make the playoffs at Oakland

    2002-03

The Green Bay and Indy games everyone discussed.

    Favorite Jets Moment ...

Halftime of the Playoff game Jets @ Denver. Jets leading 10-0. We were two quarters from the SB and I was literally sick to my stomach with nerves. It alsmost didn't seem real and guess what, it wasn't

Conversely, my worst Jets moment was C-Marts fumble in the 2nd half of that game taking away all our dreams. The hardest part was you couldn't hate him since he is usually so reliable.

The Miami game was 16-15 and that was one of my all time favorites too. I can still see Todd's pass to Barkum that gave us the win.

My favorite was when i paid vinny off to throw 3 pics in dec of 2000 and blow any playoff chance!

It was the '98 playoff against the jags. I waited years to go to a playoff game. It was freezing and it was great. The next week i was so depressed i could'nt do anything for a week.

cmart at 32 winning the rushing title. When I look back I can't believe how good he was during that season.

That GB game was awesome, I was in a lux box for that one and watched the end of the Pats/Fins game. Incredible, but I have to say the 41-0 thumping we gave Indy. It was COLD that day, but the Jets were on fire.

The 17-14 playoff victory at the LA Raiders in 82-83 was probably one of the best games the Jets ever played. Thought that team was going to the SB until the travesty in the Miami mud. Raiders went on to win Super Bowl the following year.
