“You just never know how it's going to go. Certainly our numbers, as [offensive coordinator] Brian Schottenheimer says when he walks by my office twice a day every day, are a little skewed right now from a strictly numbers standpoint, but we really want to take the best player possible.”

    HAHA :D

This Press conference is a bunch of alot said, with no substance. The Jets don't want to tip their hand.....you will never get any info from Tanny.....he's in the same mold as Mangini.

Truth is, Eagles haven't been that bad in draft under Reid
When it comes to the NFL Draft, fans have a selective memory ? especially when it comes to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Andy Reid Era, the Philadelphia Daily News reported.

Yes, Reid has had some major busts: Freddie Mitchell (first round, 2001) and Winston Justice (second, '06) and Quinton Caver (second, '01) and Matt McCoy (second, '05) and Ryan Moats (third, '05) and Tony Hunt (third, '07) and Jeremy Bloom (fifth, '06).

Reid, however, has struck gold with the likes of Corey Simon (first, '00) and Lito Sheppard (first, '02) and Sheldon Brown (second, '02) and Brian Westbrook (third, '02) and Shawn Andrews (first, '04) and Mike Patterson (first, '05) and Trent Cole (fifth, '05) and Brodrick Bunkley (first, '06) and Stewart Bradley (third, '07).

The Daily News noted: The 84 players the Eagles drafted since 1999 have started a total of 1,780 games, which is the 12th most in the league. Only four teams ? San Diego, Dallas, New England and the New York Jets ? have had more draft picks make the Pro Bowl than the Eagles during that period. The Chargers lead the way with 10 and the Cowboys, Patriots and Jets each have had nine. The Eagles are one of seven teams tied with eight.
