well who knows what kind of news it is. Personally I am a fan of this. I wasnt too big on the Miles Austin idea to begin with, i would much rather have our Draft picks, i would love to take 17 and trade back 5-8 picks and flip it into another second, or another second a say a fifth....
Still shy of the 30 pages I was pushing for about 15 pages ago. Time to Focus on the draft. Maclin, Moreno, or trade!
Hahahaha. I'd love Maclin. I'd like Moreno because he's talented but it's not as pressing a need. But I wouldn't mind it.
Glad to hear that. And all you other brainless posters, this was a no brainer to be rejected. So much for his proven status and his "burried in the depth charts" arguments. Good decision.
Like I said before, I trust our current regime. It was a bit surprising to hear that they were considering signing him against the tender, and even more surprising to hear Dallas fans worry about losing him. It definitely made me wonder if they saw something that everyone else was missing. Evidently, they didn't. Back to the draft and figuring out the best way to fill our need at receiver and exploit our positioning. Hopefully we can finally squelch all the other FA WR rumors too.
I quite agree IJR, i said from the start that if the organization thought it was the best route to take then we should support them. Obviously they didn't so i trust there judgement, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes, perhaps they have a bigger plan for that 2nd rounder.
1. I'm THRILLED this 2nd round pick for Austin talk is finally over. 2. I am now praying for Moreno, which means it will likely not happen.
Theres plenty more we can get with our 2nd rounder then some average at best receiver. I say go get campbell from the 'skins he'd b worth it
