I think you bring up a good point that sometimes we get so caught up staring at mock drafts that we forget the real thing can differ pretty dramatically. Scouts get to see a lot more of these prospects than we do and there always seems to be someone who's supposed to be top 5 who ends up dropping to the bottom of the first round. As for Young, I wouldn't be shocked if he dropped to around 10 but I can't see him being around at 29.
I really don't think Young gets by the Titans at 3. Fisher is a very good coach and is reliably reported to prefer Leinart over Young, however his recent results do not give him enough clout to force the pick. Chow left USC while Leinart was still playing for them and given that I find it hard to believe that he "has" to have him now. Assuming McNair is gone, which is looking more and more like the case, and assuming the Titans are still in rebuild mode next year, which also looks to be true, would you rather have a tandem of Young and Volek at QB or Leinart and Volek? I'd take the first pair.
i think it is could happen. I think that both TENN and OAK are goin to pick a QB. After that any team could go with there main needs before a future QB. I think on talent young should be picked early but this is the draft and that means anything could happen. Like last year were the 49ers were goin to pick either rodgers or smith and they picked smith and rodgers sat at the draft in the back room till 24. That had to really suck!
Let me ask u question since u seem so persistent to make me seem like im a dumbass, did u read the title of my thread i did not say one time that i think Vince Young is going to fall at 29 , all i said was that there was chance. Most of ya on here on here didnt even read my post, cause if u did u would see that actually see I believe Vince Young is going to the Titans as ive said many times on this board already. Thats why u see so many members on here are afraid to post, cause they feel like if they say one thing on here people will jump on them and try to act like some kind of e-thug acting all hard on the internet when they know they know they woulnt say something like that outside in the real world. Any way no Vince Young will not go to 29 to the jets, and im sorry if i offened anybody with just merely stating something whether ya like it or not, an event that could actually happen whtether ya want to admit it or not.:up:
