I'm not betraying my position (largely because the initial tenor of a thread can influence poll results). I'm curious as to how Jets fans feel.

I don't think he'll be there when it's our turn. Honest. *** Edit *** and no, I would not.

If he falls out of the top 10 they need to trade up. He's better then Stafford.

Possible, but that doesn't answer the question.

No, don't think he is the answer, try our own guys, and if not there are plenty of QB's available in 2010.

No. He definitely won't fall very far and I'm happy with what we have. If we did draft him however I suppose I could find a way to live with it.

Sure they could. It would take a lot, but it's hardly impossible.

It would take way too much to get that high for a guy who is completely unproven

Don't think drafting him will be possible because we missed out on Cutler now Denver will trade up in the draft and get him early... So see the one mistake of not getting Cutler will cost us this QB also...

They could but if they weren't willing to pony up for a proven QB why do it for one thats not proven?

Best case scenario has the Jags taking Stafford, the 49ers taking Sanchez, and the Broncos reeeeeaching for Freeman at 12. Couple that with the Raiders passing on a receiver, and we could have Maclin fall to us at 17.

That's not the point. The point is that saying "he'll go at 4" doesn't answer the question. If you think the ammunition required to get to 4 is too steep, fine. But that's a completely different statement.
