Would you take this years #1 pick and trade it for Brady Quinn or Matt Leinart.

Absolutely not, they have as much to prove as our guys we have, there not worth a first round pick, they have proved nothing.

Perfectly happy with what we have and using the draft to strengthen other areas of the team.

Not on your life. Quinn and Leinart both haven't been able to either hold the starting job down or, unseat an aging incumbent.

Many just want a QB other than Ratliff or Clemens it seems.

No way. Our QB's are just unproven, those 2 haven't shown anything and are injury prone. I will say Leinart has the better career so far, but there are some of us that could put up good numbers in ARI as long as you can throw it deep enough.

No. Now that Cutler is off the table and with the Bears its time to move on. Go with Clemens, Ratliff, or a QB that you draft.

For Quinn or Leinart? no thanks. I was in favor of dealing for Cutler because he is a proven -- and extremely rare commodity -- a young, elite passer. Quinn and Leinart are young, but that's about it, and we already have people like that on our roster.

That said about Cutler, the price the Bears paid for him appears to have been pretty steep, and we might turn out to be better off using those picks to surround whoever QBs the jets w/talented personnel.

Now, I think there's no chance Sanchez falls to pick No. 17 -- the Broncos are almost certain to take him at 12 if he's even still on the board. I don't want Freeman, either, so let's draft Heyward-Bey and give Clemens or Ratliff a major downfield threat!

No, neither of those two are 1/4 the QB Cutler is...that's why Cutler was a bargain.

Holy crap why are people so opposed to giving Clemens / Ratliff a shot?! All QBs have to start somewhere, just cause you weren't drafted high doesn't mean you can't play!

Exactly, people are already jumping off the cliff without knowing what we have, it's a typical Jets negative perspective. It will soon go weeks into the season, when we realize that we have a good QB.....until then, we will just have to put up with it for a while.

No! But it's a better idea than drafting Stafford or Sanchez.

At this point I don't see Matt Leinart or Brady Quinn being much better than Kellen Clemens. I don't know why everyone is so down on him. Even Ratliff gets more recognition

All 3 of them are about the same... and Quinn has never won a big game... I'll pass.

I think the QB issue is dead. We have 3 QB's one of which is vetran enough. If this team makes moves make it with another value position. The Jets just might miss the playoffs but they still have the power to draft really good here.
