I'm down. Life is all about second chances and the guy's a rare talent - probably still one of the fastest guys in the NFL even with his time in the pokey.
If the Knicks can trade for Spree, the Rangers regain Avery and the Yanks can keep Arod, Michael Vick as a Jet in some capacity should be strongly considered.
Brad Smith will always be the poorest man's Michael Vick so why not get the real deal?

That's nice. I hope that before Goodell turns even bigger dikk and re-instates him that Vick gets his balls mauled off by a rabid pitbull.

Heh, I've posted that before, too, elsewhere. He served his time, but he's too retarded to ever think there was a anything sick about what he did. Let him make his money elsewhere. Like shoveling dog sh*t.

You guys are all sick, the man has been in jail for what? 2 years, for fighting dogs, all the guys he did it with got NOTHING, because they all pled against him. Yes, what he did was wrong, but they made an example out of him and really screwed him, i hope if not us, some team picks him up and he can regain some of what hes lost

He wasn't slaughtering dogs to feed his family. If he was, OK. He's a scumbag. And just WHY do YOU think it was wrong? I'm of the opinion that the more cognizant, the more merciful the death should be. Dogs are cognizant. Euthanize them, if making dogs rip each other apart is your thing. It's sick.

Just let someone say that dogs are more important than people. Of course they aren't. People just don't get why not.

sometimes people need to be made an example of so the rest of society gets the message. had Vick not got busted and some random dude went to prison for two years over dog fighting, it wouldn't have broken the news, nevertheless had even the slightest influence on curbing the practice.

you don't bargain with the ringleader to squeal on the underling. when you run the show, you're the one that it is most important to bust. your logic and moral compass are quite loose. Vick isn't a victim in any regards in this situation, so save the poor Michale Vick song.

I'm all for Vick, because honestly all the guy did was fight dogs, he didnt hurt any person, its not like he killed someone. I mean how many dogs are put down a year anyways right, its a freakin animal. I'd take Vick as the Jets QB all day

nobody is comparing it to killing a person so your dependence on the comparison only weakens your position. yes, he fought and killed dogs and his punishment will be appropriate for that crime...and it is a crime whether you agree with it or not. nobody is clamoring for it to be more.

My dog is better than you. If it came down to saving you or my dog (any dog for that matter), I'd save the dog.

well thank you, i knew at least one of the tons of ridiculous dog owners would get all pissy about it, I just don't think any team (Jets especially) should have to pass on an extremely talented player due to pissing off these animal nuts. I wanna see Vick play, I want a real fur coat like Namath, I wanna eat meat and have any chemical I might put near me tested on an animal first. Alright that was a rant sry. All I'm saying is we could get a huge upgrade at QB dirt cheap, who cares if PETA cries about it.
