We're getting pretty close to the draft. Combine is finished as are many of the school pro days. It's time to start setting your final draft board. Let's have your top three choices for the Jets first round pick.
the question was for the jets first round pick. Tom Spicer, Stafford and Crabtree definitely won't be there at 17. 1. Nicks 2. Gilbert 3. Andre Smith if he falls to 17 2nd round 1. Britt 2. Robiskie 3. McCoy
Rd 1....with Sanchez gone! 1) Sean Smith 2) Knowshon Moreno 3) Hakeem Nicks Rd 2 1) Ziggy Hood 2) Louis Delmas 3) Larry English I like Jarron Gilbert, but believe he's going to be drafted in late rd 1 (Pittsburgh) .......so the Jets would have no opportunity in Rd 2. I'm still not convinced Mr. Gilbert is yet worthy of the 17th pick...just my opinion. We still have 5 or so weeks so my opinion may change.
Attempt at humor. Should have known it would have been confused with the legitimate stupidity around here.
No need to be a douche - he knew you were kidding. 0. Mark Sanchez 1. Sean Smith 2. Jarron Gilbert 3. Malcolm Jenkins/Hakeem Nicks
DE - Jarron Gilbert DE - Tyson Jackson OL - Max Unger We have a real chance to grab a DE that will contribute right away in Gilbert or Jackson ... and that is where I would go if either was available at 17. Max Unger can play any position on the line & gives our O-Line depth immediately & provides a future replacement for Faneca. I know that everyone is pining for a WR, but I feel we can find one in the second or third round. Its not like we will be throwing the ball all over the field anyway ... we will be ball control & sound defense. I think we should consider DT/NT Ron Brace in the second round if he is still available (which I doubt). Just my take.
1. Mark Sanchez 2. Jeremy Maclin 3. Knowshon Moreno 3.1 Jarron Gilbert * sorry, I never was one to follow the rules.
Wasn't supposed to come out like that. I'm frustrated at the shit posters, not WW85 who's one of my favourite when it comes to the draft.
Definitely a baller - not the biggest need, but I wouldn't be upset with the pick. He'd provide depth on the offensive line and could start at every spot.
I think Popeye's looks pretty good. I would be happy with either Harvin or Gilbert - both positions of need. 2nd Round, Robiskie is "safer" than Britt, but Britt has more upside.
