    Just to clarify, by matching Elam becomes a Jet. It's not like he has the option of choosing which team he will play for. He's definitely on the Jets roster in 2009 now.

    This is awesome! The Jets secondary should be strong this season. This will make a huge difference allowing them to send more people to get pressure on the other teams QB. Elam only had one bad game last year vs denver the rest was solid playing time.
